I was wondering if I could extend kegbot to monitor my co2 levels and possible even set the regulators?
Does anyone know of any programmable regulators or any builds that have done something similar? Tried searching and didn’t find anything really
While I have to say that it can’t be done… I looked in to automating CO2 based on temperature and the valves I could find made it too expensive. You could try using a manual valve and a servo/stepper motor but that was worth more hassle than it was worth.
With regards to monitoring the total CO2 in your tank then the easiest solution would be a load sensor under the bottle as pressure will only start to drop when you are at the end. If you just need a warning then a pressure sensor could be an option though.
