Arduino Mega for 4 Taps

Hello all,

New to the forums and kegbot. Been lurking around for some time and still haven’t seen a writeup or anything of the sort for wiring up 4 flow meters to the arduino mega.

Looked at the wiring map but wondering if I am supposed/ or able to put four jumper cable ends into the same hole on the board.

Any help on this would be great.

I am still trying to figure things out myself, but for your Arduino Mega, you would put the outputs of your flowmeters into digital pins 2, 3, 21, and 20 according to the default kegboard_config.h

I am assuming the other pins for power and ground can be sort of spliced/put together somehow?

Yes, power and ground would be shared for all of the flow sensors.

Also, I’m not sure which flowmeter you’re using, but a lot of them require a 2.2kohm pullup resistor between the flowmeter output and power.

Bought only 2 so far just to make sure they would work. did not know about the resistors required though.
