I have a quick question. I bought a powered USB hub and wanted to connect to my DIY kegboard through that rather than a OTG-Y cable. I gave the kegboard a serial number and connected it to the hub. I get the beeps that it is powered up, but when I connect my tablet to the hub it does not connect to the kegboard. Is there something I am missing? Is it more involved than I think? When I plug the tablet in it begins to charge, but no connection. Is it possible that the cable I am using is not an OTG cable? USB hosting is enabled on the tablet and I reverted to v17 on the kegboard firmware and no luck. Any help is appreciated.
FYI, this tablet does work with the OTG-Y cable…
